Your post should not be in italics lar... thats meeeeeeee.... hehahahaha

Now that you're hiking Morialta park, with drizzles splatting on you from the trees, the mud on the terrains making it a bit more difficult to hike... J tsen is awake!! and I will have food soon... and we'll be relaxing at home watching THE OSCARsssssss....

Our chat last night was... special... now I KNOW why we can click so well right after 'reunion'... COS uR LIKE ME!!! oh pengsans. :P Not in a bad way lar.... Every time something happens, I do a quick reflection and examine my heart. You do that in minutes..... its pretty awesome. I love how you initiate conversations to talk about things - it IS a very good habit and trait to possess and practice.

Sighs. Love you heaps... BUT NOW... tatata-DA!!! the OSCARS. :) Hmm.. and my breakfast - 1/2 boiled eggs with soy sauce. And the dog just came in. Oh wellz.

Initiative

Reminiscing the past, I've learnt that relationships, habits and cultures form in certain time-frames. There is never a moment that passes without an event or circumstance enabling it. I've learnt to sit back each day and reflect because I know, doing that helps me savour my limited days on earth.

Looking back at the past month since James arrived, I've not only enjoyed the company I've had, I have tasted what its like to take initiative to work on the friendship. Some people have been more difficult to bridge as compared to James but all relationships I've found, it took some initiative - both parties.

I'm proud to say that James and I are enjoying ourselves - yes - bullying and teasing...

I don't like the fact that I can't see him as often as I want because I live so far away but I'm enjoying my household, my work and my relationships too.

btw James, 5 mins of talk after BSF is NOT catch up... hehehe. Thank you for taking care of me when you can. xoxo

P/s: some pics soon! We've been up and about.

Sometimes or often times we realized that until we take initiative, things will happen. I don't know where we would be if I had never taken the initiative to say hi to you again after so many years since our childhood days. Sorry if I had frighten you there but also thanks for coming back the following week to see for yourself if what I told you before was true- that indeed we use to play together and celebrate birthdays together when we were kids. I don't have much memories of it in my head but I certainly do remember some parts of it enough to recognize you when I saw you appeared again after so many years.

Also want to say thank you for being a friend here in Adelaide and also for the advices, company and friendship that you shown around here. Our friendship is not perfect but its a journey worth travelling on. Thanks Mel.

First Saturday of the Year

I would like to say a BIG thanks to Mel for being kind enough to take me out for a nice sunny and cooling bicycle ride today. One of the thing i discovered at Adelaide is that on Saturdays, the government provides bikes (bicycle not motorbike) for citizens to cycle for free throughout the day till 5pm. its been a long time since I had a good cardio exercise and also a nice picnic! under t

under the?!?!?!?!?!
Btw, that was James.

I have no idea why Jamesy left his part of the post hanging. I'm sure he'll complete it. However, here are some shots! They'll tell the story.

omgoodness.... JAMES!!!! STOP having drafts!!!!

POST LAR~

Coming out of The Coconut Shell

Coming out of Malaysia is a whole new different world out there. Feels like a fish from an old tank transferred to a new tank *sorry mel I looked like one who just came out of the stone age* lol.

When I heard of free tram rides, I m not sure if the word free was there being the reason that everything in KL needs money. And busses here are SO efficient and fast. what is waiting half an hour compared to waiting for 45 minutes to 1 hour for bus in KL.

Service here is FIRST class! That is the main difference about first world and third world (Malaysia). service here is not only efficient but friendly. When Aaron Wong took me to the bank to do the bank account, I didnt even have to take a queue number due to the fast service.

As good as it seems of course not everything is perfect-
1. Home is still something I miss dearly
2. I need to start (have started) reading up in advance for classes
3. I still have no idea what to cook for meals other than bread =/ *so much for working at pizza uno =(*

looking forward for the year ahead here!

Coconut shell indeed. This boy... so jakun!!! Its good tho, makes me reflect on my jakun days. Time to savor Adelaide with fresh eyes. not mine but James'. New people somehow make me fall in love with Adelaide over and over again.

I miss home but I feel like Adelaide's more homey now that James' here. LOL James you MUST not eat bread for all your meals.... we're SO shopping tomorrow.

GO sleep!
